House of Arras
Our Cellar Door is located in Pipers River, home to the flagship sparkling wine label House of Arras as well as showcasing the Tasmanian wines curated and organically produced by Handpicked Wines from their Tamar Valley Vineyard sites.
Our small and dedicated team offers a range of signature tours and educational classroom style tasting experiences inside the cellar door, out in the vineyards and along the banks of Pipers River, looking for our resident platypus with a glass of Sparkling in hand.
We take pride in the depth of detail we show to all things Tasmania and its winemaking history and Terroir in this classroom style tastings as we showcase our beloved wines over 45 minutes to 2 hours in these unique and memorable experiences.

We have dedicated accessible parking and entrance for our cellar door and can tailor our tasting experiences to suit people with different access requirements. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms and tasting areas, as well as being able to customise vineyard and winery tours to suit. We use interpretation materials to help guide people through our brand history and winemaking and can provide large print tasting notes, described audio and engaging presentations for all.
